For the first time, the upcoming release of a new device became known from a tweet by a former employee of the Bitmain company, journalist Colin Wu. The insider indicated in his post that the new product is “significantly improved” compared to the S19 Pro model. After the hype raised because of this, the leaders of Bitmain decided to hold a conference at which new mining equipment was announced. In the same place, at the presentation, the audience was shown a commercial showing the impressive capabilities of the S19 XP. According to some sources, the flagship of ASIC is about to launch a new production line for the assembly and production of a limited number of S19 XP miners. The ASIC release is scheduled for 2022. Some experts attribute this delay to the company's desire to fully implement the previous model - S19 jPro. The first buyers of the promising novelty will be five companies that know firsthand what mining is and what benefits it represents. In particular, Ault Global Holdings was lucky enough to purchase the S19 XP. The contract between Bitmain and Ault Global Holdings was signed right at the presentation of the new ASIC in Dubai. According to Binline, which will also receive the first batch of S19 XP, the new device will be implemented in a data center system in Michigan. The company's management is confident that such an innovation will achieve a significant increase in the possibilities of bitcoin mining. And Greenedge Generation plans to place the device at its facilities in Texas and South Carolina. Previously, the company ordered a batch of 22,500 units of S19 jPro Antminers from Bitmain.
